Apr 8: OAR SUPPORT GROUP Every Monday at 6pm at Como Community Center. This is an intensive support group to help all people grow in their relationship with Christ. It is also an evangelistic tool to meet a relevant need in our community for those who are required by the legal system to attend a group. If you know anyone who is stuck in a pattern that needs support please share this information with them. Also, if you have a friend who is a family member of someone in recovery please tell them to come so they can receive support.

January 1st. Call To Fast
We are hearing the Lord prompt: “More in 24”. We ask you all to join with us corporately to fast together to show the Lord that we desire more people saved, healed and set free in 2024. We are asking for unity to fast for 40 days. We ask that you give up some food, process or practice and take that time to let the Lord know that you desire His Will above everything!
RECOVERY SUNDAY A GREAT SUCCESS.
Thanks to the Lord for a great day Sunday. Our Sixth Annual Recovery Sunday, a great day where we joined churches across the nation to provide hope to those who struggle with all forms of addiction and their affected families. We had a great response and many individuals were impacted and helped. We want to give special thanks to Kattie McKeithen for her powerful testimony and Joshua Brown for a challenging and anointed message about freedom and our new life in Christ.
We want to thank all of you who supported us with prayer. There are many out there who need rehab and can’t afford it due to being impoverished and our vision is to ask individuals to sow into these “heavenly treasures” by providing financial support. Men’s Ministry
Each week we see more men connecting and being challenged in their walk with the Lord. Men aren’t designed to do life on our own–living without accountability, encouragement, discipline and perseverance. At CBF, we train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church and the workplace. We strive to achieve spiritual growth by connecting men through special events, Connect Groups, Bible studies, accountability groups, social media and service opportunities.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry connects, challenges, comforts and supports women. God’s power changes lives, and as we obey the great commission by reaching out with God’s love to others, we can make a difference! Recognize the woman you were meant to be as you set out on a journey to find direction, purpose and true satisfaction. Realize how valuable you are, regardless of where you are in life, as you receive the encouragement you need to pursue your passions.
Rise Youth
We are a youth driven ministry that helps equip, train, and develop new leaders. We are committed to growing youth in their knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ. By using sound biblical teaching principles and discipleship, the ministry seeks to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people for Jesus Christ. It is our goal to connect with and engage young people in an appropriate way, so they understand the relevancy of God today and enable them to become tomorrow’s Christian leaders.
KidzChurch
Kidzjam Jr./Sr. offers grade-specific classes which allow children to bond with kids of their own ages for a more productive learning environment. Boys and girls learn God’s truth and how it applies to their daily lives; the Children’s Ministry goals are to influence children positively to make wise choices and actions with God in mind. Our loving mentors and teachers utilize creative techniques which allow children to understand and to apply sound Biblical teachings at home, at church, at school, and at play. The Children’s Ministry gives students the opportunity to take their faith to the “next level” by helping bridge the gap between culture, faith, and growing up.
